We are pleased to share that the Scopism Global SIAM Survey 2025 is now officially open, and we invite you to share your voice.
Each year, the survey helps us map the trends, challenges, and successes shaping SIAM around the world. Whether you’re new to SIAM or a seasoned professional, your input contributes to a richer, more complete picture of how SIAM is developing across industries and regions.
The survey is open until August 31st, and we’ll be collating the results into a whitepaper, available via the Scopism SIAM Community in early November.
Insights from the 2024 survey
The 2024 survey revealed a series of new questions around AI and its impact and potential within SIAM frameworks, and the results provided powerful insights that reflected the growing maturity and relevance of SIAM in a rapidly changing IT landscape, including:
- Increased adoption as more organizations reported formally implementing SIAM models, moving beyond theory to practice
- Focus on governance and collaboration as respondents highlighted the importance of strong governance frameworks and the need for improved supplier collaboration
- Tooling challenges persisted, as many organizations continue to face difficulties integrating toolsets across multiple suppliers – a theme that has remained consistent over recent years
- Training and skills gaps remained significant, with a number of respondents citing a lack of internal knowledge as a key barrier to SIAM success, reinforcing the need for ongoing training and certification
These findings have helped inform discussions across the SIAM community and shape how we support professionals through resources, training, and events.
