Women in Tech lead the way at Service North

Where are the women in tech?

So here’s a fun fact. Of the current delegates registered for the world’s first SIAM conference in Leeds on March 30th, we’ve got more people called Dave or David than we have women. Scary!

There’s still plenty of time for it to balance out with our last-minute registrations, but we’re happy to say we’ve got a brilliant group of women on the agenda.

Who’s on the agenda at Service North?

Firstly, our track chairs are Anna Leyland and Alison Cartlidge from conference sponsor Sopra Steria. Anna and Alison are both extremely experienced service management professionals and consultants, and are both winners of the prestigious ‘contributor of the year’ award from itSMF UK.
Alison and Anna will play an active role on the day, keeping the sessions on track and sharing their knowledge and experience.

Our keynote speaker is Andrea Kis, a senior consultant at conference sponsor ISG. Andrea is a renowned international speaker and SIAM consultant, with a reputation for being passionate about her subject. Andrea will be talking about how SIAM is enabling digital transformation.

We also have a workshop session from Trisha Booth and Charlotte Parnham, SIAM consultants at Atos. Trisha and Charlotte have worked on dozens of SIAM engagements, and will be sharing some top tips about how to manage relationships once the SIAM contracts are signed. In ‘after the honeymoon’, they will challenge their workshop attendees to think about how to drive the right behaviours and create a culture that works.

Our very own Claire Agutter will be there on the day, keeping things running in the background and facilitating the panel session and audience q&a session at the conference close.
