SIAM community update

- 114 countries
The community continues to grow and we are seeing more community involvement in content creation and event hosting.
SIAM Body of Knowledge refresh update
The lead architect of the SIAM Body of Knowledge refresh shared their updates from the closing stages of the 12 month project. Statistics shared included:
- 140+ volunteers
- 75+ contributors
- 16 publications with more than 1420 pages of content.
The architects also explained the planned Content Council launch in 2026, allowing the Compendium element of the BoK to grow as SIAM evolves.
Americas update
We were delighted to host our North America partners, Integris Applied. Matt Reprogle shared some insights into the adoption of SIAM in the region, including signs of growth and maturity in public sector SIAM adoption. Matt shared details of the industry organizations they are engaging with, and we look forward to further growth in SIAM adoption across public and private sectors in the region.
Education update
EXIN shared some updates on the SIAM training and certification landscape, most importantly the renewal of the EXIN/Scopism contract to extend certification through to the new version of the BoK. 2026 also includes a planned micro-certification related to one of the new Compendium publications, allowing the SIAM certification scheme to extend and support learners with continuing professional development.
SIAM key trends and evolution
The meeting attendees reflected briefly on the results of the 2025 Global SIAM Survey, with data reflecting that enterprise SIAM and adoption of AI in SIAM models is growing, but still relatively small.
This was followed by a wide ranging discussion around SIAM positioning – how can SIAM be positioned as a recognizable and sought after approach? Several Leadership Council members have volunteered to lead a working group around this topic, and we look forward to the results.
Final thoughts
Once again, the meeting was lively and engaging with excellent contributions from all attendees reflecting their knowledge and experience. These meetings provide important direction for the Scopism SIAM community, and we’re very grateful to all of the attendees.
