SIAM Foundation BoK now available in Japanese

SIAM goes global

siam-logo-centeredIn November 2017, the directors of Scopism and our exam partners EXIN visited Tokyo, Japan, to attend the itSMF Japan conference and a SIAM event hosted by EXIN’s regional manager, Etsuko Nakagawa. During the visit, we had the opportunity to meet local business leaders and training organisations, and heard a lot about the growing increase in SIAM in Japan. There is a global trend that is changing focus away from systems integration approaches towards service integration and management, and Japan is part of this.

Tokyo hosts the summer Olympics in 2020, and Olympic IT partner Atos will use a SIAM approach to integrate the many different companies involved in providing information services for the games.

Launch of Japanese translation

To support the growing adoption of SIAM in Japan, Scopism has worked with Japanese business leaders to translate the SIAM Foundation BoK into Japanese. You can download the PDF for free now, and a hard copy book will be available soon via Leonon Media.

Scopism would like to extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to the translation project, including:
