Are you a changemaker? Give to gain on IWD

Are you a changemaker? This International Women’s Day, we invite you to ‘Give to Gain’ by signing up for our new event series.

We are kicking off this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) with an exciting new event series. This series brings together insight from voices across the globe, spanning different regions, roles and lived experiences to reflect the diversity and complexity of modern service ecosystems. Each session is intentionally designed to be different in frame, tempo and style, creating space for fresh perspectives and richer dialogue.

The IWD theme this year is ‘Give to Gain’. It’s a call to rethink how we do things, yet it couldn’t be more perfectly aligned to SIAM and service integration if we tried. The message is:

Give To Gain: ‘Investing in others doesn’t make us lose ground. It lets us build it.’

That’s the message behind our new online events series launching around International Women’s Day, 8th March 2026. The series of five events is framed around this year’s theme and is an invitation to rethink what effective leadership looks like in SIAM communities and how we can all play a role in shaping positive outcomes for everyone.

A connected series, not standalone conversations

This is not a set of isolated events. Each session in the Give to Gain series builds on the last, reflecting the reality of Service Integration and Management (SIAM): outcomes are never delivered in isolation. Across the series, we move from personal credibility and identity to collective responsibility, to structural and behavioural change, mirroring how effective SIAM ecosystems are designed, governed and sustained.
In our complex SIAM ecosystems, Service Integration and Management requires people to work together. To share accountability and decision-making. It can only thrive when those at the top empower others to take up space, raise their voice and be rewarded for their contribution.

This series of five events running over the coming months, is about impact. About what happens when we ‘Give to Gain’, sharing and collaborating rather than protecting. How far we can lift others when we put our weight behind them, and what inclusive ecosystems look like in action. The event series will explore what leadership, inclusion and allyship look like in our complex SIAM world.

How do you move from who you are to what you do?

In SIAM environments, leadership is exercised through influence, trust and shared accountability rather than authority alone. Give to Gain explores how these human dimensions: inclusion, allyship and empowerment are not “soft” considerations, but foundational to integration, governance and sustained service outcomes.

Event 1: Your Identity Is Your Superpower

A panel discussion exploring how leaders build credibility and visibility without burnout; how to leverage influence, and lift others up, in complex service environments.

Event 2: Witty WITs – Accelerated Action

In partnership with the Open Service Community, this collaborative session broadens the lens from individual leadership to collective responsibility. Together, we explore equity, allyship and what accelerating action really looks like across our shared service management ecosystem.

Event 3: Unlearn. Relearn. Lead. Why This Is Women’s Moment

In this powerful leadership conversation, we explore why the real crisis isn’t competence – it’s resistance to unlearning. As technology accelerates and AI promises efficiency, the human capabilities of judgment, empathy and courage have never been more critical. This session examines what modern leadership demands and why this moment presents a significant opportunity for women to lead differently.

Event 4: Allyship Through Your Career

Where do you come into allyship? How does it change as you progress through your career? With insight from the authors of Allyship Actually: Why It’s ‘We’ and Not ‘Me’, this session explores how power, privilege and personal experience can be used to create space and opportunity for others.

Event 5: From Allies to Action: Building Inclusive Ecosystems

Closing out the series, this conversation turns learning and discussion into actions. Exploring the structural and behavioural changes that leaders can make to build stronger, more inclusive ecosystems.

Take your seat!

Take your seat at our event series and see how we can drive change together. Sessions will include expert speakers, targeted advice for long-term behaviour change, and ample space for collaboration among like-minded changemakers. Details of each event will be shared here.
In SIAM ecosystems, progress depends on what we are willing to contribute, not just what we control. When we share knowledge, influence and opportunity, we strengthen the whole system.

This International Women’s Day, we ask you to Take your Seat at the ‘collaboration’ table. Share knowledge. Share power. We all gain.
