Scopism SIAM Content Council
The SIAM Content Council is Scopism’s working group for shaping, developing, and maintaining SIAM best-practice content. It brings together experienced practitioners and contributors to help ensure SIAM guidance stays relevant, coherent, and grounded in real-world delivery.
In SIAM terms, it functions as a cross-ecosystem forum; a structural element that enables collaboration, shared ownership, and continual improvement across multiple organizations and perspectives.
What the Content Council does
The Content Council helps Scopism and the wider SIAM community by:
- Curating and prioritizing content themes based on what practitioners and organizations need now
- Shaping and guiding new content including proposed publications, updates, practical assets, and community-authored materials
- Reviewing and improving existing resources to keep them consistent with SIAM principles and aligned to the SIAM Body of Knowledge
- Supporting quality, clarity, and consistency across language, concepts, and how SIAM is described
- Creating a route for community insight and customer experience to feed into what Scopism publishes and promotes
SIAM Council
Who is involved
The Council includes a mix of contributors from across the SIAM ecosystem. This diversity helps ensure content reflects how SIAM is actually implemented across different sourcing models, sectors, and maturity levels. All Council members are volunteers, and we are very grateful to them for sharing their time and experience.

How it works
The Content Council meets on a regular cadence (typically aligned to agreed editorial cycles), and also collaborates asynchronously to review drafts, propose improvements, and coordinate contributions.
It focuses on practical outcomes, not just discussion, so that ideas translate into content the community can use.
Outputs you can expect
Depending on priorities, the Council will support:
- Updates to existing guidance and learning resources
- New community publications or practical assets
- Calls for contributions and topic proposals
- Content roadmaps and themes for the months ahead
